Often, I wonder why homeopathy is not better known for its good results with children who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). There are several outstanding benefits to homeopathic treatments, such  as:  

• Non-invasive - taking a homeopathic remedy is the same as taking a drink of water.
• Helps mental, emotional, AND physical symptoms - homeopathy can heal on all levels. 
• Gentle - remedies help the body to balance and heal, including detoxing. 
• Works with other modalities - diets and supplements can be used as shorter-term work-arounds while homeopathic healing addresses the underlying causes for long-term healing. 
• Simple - complex treatment routines and nutritional programs put a lot of stress on family life. 
• Inexpensive - affordable to many who can't afford other treatments. 

There are many remedies that are appropriate for people with ASD. What I do with my clients who are on the spectrum is much the same as what I do for anyone with a chronic condition. I talk to them or their parents to find out as much as possible about their mental/emotional/physical symptoms and find the remedy that best fits this symptom picture. This is more difficult with people who don't speak (or won't speak), and parent input is often crucial to determining what the client might be thinking or experiencing.
